# Projects

> Add, edit and deactivate projects, and how many projects each plan includes.

A project is one brand you track, with its own website, prompts, competitors, Brand Book, articles and analytics. Every workspace starts with the project you set up at signup. Switch projects with the project switcher in the top bar. Owners and Admins manage all of a workspace's projects under **Settings** > **Projects**.

## How many projects you can have

| Plan | Active projects |
| - | - |
| Starter | 1 |
| Growth | 5 |
| Enterprise and agency plans | Unlimited |

Only active projects count. Tracked prompts, articles and audits are shared across all the workspace's projects. See [Billing and plans](/account/billing).

## Add a project

1. Open the project switcher in the top bar and choose **Add project**. Owners and Admins can also use **Add Project** under **Settings** > **Projects**.
2. In **Add New Project**, fill in:
   * **Project Name**
   * **Domain**: the project's website, like `example.com`.
   * **Country**: where its prompts are tracked to start.
   * **Content Language**: the language ChatFeatured writes in for it.
3. Click **Add Project**.

ChatFeatured opens the new project's Getting Started page and starts building its Brand Book and a first set of prompts in the background. If you're at your plan's project limit, the dialog offers an upgrade or a call with us instead of the form.

Owners, Admins and Members can add projects. A Member who adds a project gets access to it automatically.

## Edit a project

Under **Settings** > **Projects**, click the edit icon on a project to open **Edit Project**. You can change the **Logo Icon**, **Project Name**, **Domain** and **Country**, then click **Save Changes**.

The rest of a project's setup lives on its own pages: which names count as your brand on [Competitors](/using-chatfeatured/competitors), its description and personas in the [Brand Book](/using-chatfeatured/brand-book), its prompts and countries in the [Prompt Tracker](/using-chatfeatured/prompts), and its connections under [Integrations](/integrations/overview).

## Deactivate a project

Use the switch on a project's card under **Settings** > **Projects**. Deactivating stops the project's daily prompt runs, hides it from the project switcher, and frees its project slot and tracked prompts for your other projects. All its data and settings are kept.

To bring it back, turn the switch on again. Reactivation needs a free project slot and enough tracked prompts on your plan; if either is missing, ChatFeatured tells you which.

To delete a project, email [support@chatfeatured.com](mailto:support@chatfeatured.com).

## Who can see a project

Owners and Admins see every project. Members and Viewers see only the projects an Owner has given them. See [Team management](/account/team-management#members-list).
