The Brand Book is the central identity module for your brand in ChatFeatured. It defines who your company is, how your brand name appears across search engines, what industry and product categories you operate in, and who your target buyer personas are.
Zero-Effort Automated Setup: When you add your website domain during onboarding, ChatFeatured automatically crawls your site and pre-populates your Brand Book fields — including your company description, name variations, industry classification, product categories, and buyer personas. You have complete control to review, edit, or update these fields at any time.

Brand Book Structure

The Brand Book is organized into two dedicated tabs:

Brand Details Tab

Core company metadata, regional targeting, name variations, descriptions, industry classification, and product/service categories.

Personas Tab

Detailed buyer personas, target job titles, customer pain points, and decision criteria.

Tab 1: Brand Details

The Brand Details tab contains the foundational metadata used by the AEO Agent and analytics tracking engine:
  • Company Name: Your official company or product brand name (e.g., ChatFeatured).
  • Domain: Your primary website URL (e.g., https://chatfeatured.com).
  • Country: The primary geographic market for tracking search results (e.g., United States, United Kingdom, Germany). AI engine answers and search rankings are localized to this region.

Tab 2: Personas

The Personas tab lets you define the specific audience segments and decision-makers your content and brand positioning target. Each persona profile includes:
  • Persona Name & Role: The target title or profile (e.g., Enterprise VP of Marketing, SEO / Content Director, E-commerce Store Owner).
  • Target Job Titles: Specific positions to tailor messaging toward (e.g., CMO, Head of Growth, Lead Architect).
  • Core Pain Points: The operational bottlenecks, frustrations, or challenges that lead them to search for a solution like yours.
  • Goals & Buying Drivers: What they evaluate when choosing a provider (e.g., demonstrated ROI, enterprise security/SOC2, speed of integration, pricing transparency).

How the AEO Agent Uses Your Brand Book

The Brand Book serves as a primary context layer across the entire ChatFeatured platform:
1

1. Accurate AI Mention & Visibility Detection

The analytics pipeline uses your Company Name and Name Variations to track mentions across all 7 AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Grok, Copilot).
2

2. Automated Prompt Generation

ChatFeatured leverages your Industry, Product/Service Categories, and Descriptions to automatically discover and baseline high-intent commercial prompts relevant to your business.
3

3. Content Strategy & Tone Alignment

When generating article ideas or drafting content in content mode, the AEO Agent reads your Descriptions and Personas to ensure every piece is written for the correct target audience with accurate company context.

Brand Book vs. Knowledge Base

To ensure clean workspace configuration, here is how the Brand Book and Knowledge Base divide responsibilities:
Where do Tone and Style Guidelines go? Detailed editorial rules, tone-of-voice guidelines, formatting constraints, and forbidden word lists should be added directly to the Knowledge Base. The AEO Agent dynamically retrieves your style guide alongside product collateral during article generation.
