How It Works
Index Submissions is fully automated:
- Add your website - Enter your domain in the Index Submissions section
- We fetch your URLs - ChatFeatured automatically discovers all pages on your site
- Weekly submissions - Your URLs are submitted to AI search engines every week
- Track status - Monitor submission history and indexing status
You don’t need to manually select or submit individual URLs. Once your website is added, everything runs automatically.
Adding a Website
To start automatic index submissions:
- Navigate to Index Submissions in the sidebar
- Click Add Website
- Enter your domain (e.g.,
example.com)
- ChatFeatured will discover and begin tracking your URLs
What Gets Submitted
ChatFeatured automatically discovers URLs from your website by:
- Crawling your sitemap (if available)
- Following internal links from your homepage
- Tracking new pages as they’re published
All discovered URLs are included in the weekly submission cycle.

Plan Limits
Index Submissions are included based on your plan:
- Each plan includes a set number of websites you can track
- All URLs within tracked websites are submitted automatically
- Upgrade your plan to track additional websites

Keep Your Site Crawlable
Ensure ChatFeatured can discover all your pages:
- Maintain an up-to-date sitemap
- Use internal linking to connect pages
- Avoid blocking important pages in robots.txt

After publishing new content:
- It will be discovered during the next crawl
- Included in the weekly submission cycle

Troubleshooting
Website Not Showing URLs
If no URLs appear after adding a website:
- Verify your domain is accessible
- Check that you have a sitemap at
/sitemap.xml
- Ensure pages aren’t blocked by robots.txt
URLs Not Getting Indexed
If submitted URLs don’t appear to be indexed:
- Verify pages have quality, original content
- Check for technical issues (broken pages, redirects)
- Allow time—indexing can take days to weeks
- Monitor Agent Analytics for bot visits
