Setting Up Integrations

General Process

  1. Navigate to Integrations in the sidebar
  2. Select the integration you want to configure
  3. Follow the platform-specific setup steps
  4. Test the connection
  5. Enable desired features

Requirements

  • Admin access to the external platform
  • Specific plugin or app installation

Data Handling

  • Credentials are encrypted at rest
  • Connections use secure protocols (HTTPS, OAuth)
  • We only request necessary permissions

Access Control

  • Integration settings follow your organization’s permissions
  • Admins control which integrations are enabled
  • Connection details are visible only to authorized users

Disconnecting

To disconnect an integration:
  1. Go to the integration settings
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Credentials are removed from ChatFeatured
  4. You may need to revoke access from the external platform as well
